Positional Profile: OF/3B Strong follow as outfield prospect.
Body: 5-10, 165-pounds. Lean body, large frame, good strength & athleticism, big legs.
Hit: RHH. Strong base, athletic balanced setup, squared stance. Uses toe tap trigger to land square. Starts hands back, pre-stretched with minimal load. Accelerates on plane quickly, showing good bat speed.
Power: 97 mph exit velocity from the tee. Aggressive pull-approach, hard contact with some consistency.
Arm: Right-Handed. OF - 86 mph. Above average arm for age. Quick arm, throwing from a lower slot with long arm action. Used a side step to create direction. Accurate to the bag.
Defense: Above average athleticism in the OF. Good ready position. Rounded the baseball & created angles. Athletic footwork with fast feet, quick first step. Showed some intent.
Run: 7.13 runner in the 60.
5-foot-10 165-pounds, broad shoulders, above average athleticism & strength for age, balanced frame. Hits from an athletic squared stance, spread out. Used a controlled toe tap trigger, showing balance. Loud with his hands pre-pitch. Middle/ pull approach with good pop for age, 88mph exit velocity. Slight upward swing path, clipping bottom of ball at times. Out of zone quickly. Easy footwork in the OF, ran 7.00 60-yard dash. Created angles with quickness. Rushed off backside on some throws. Some natural arm strength with carry at 80mph. 2023 OF prospect to follow.
5/20/18 - Athletic 5-foot-9, 135-pound frame. Young 2023 prospect turned in very impressive performance, posting 7.26 60-yarddash and 81 mph exit velocity. Some stiffness in swing but shows fast twitch ability and some present strength.
