Body: 6-1, 220-pounds. Large build, strength in lower half.
Hit: LHH. Upright stance with some rhythm, creates some separation during load, slightly closed stride, short stride. Calm and controlled in the box. Has some bat speed and gets the barrel out front. Simple swing mechanics.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 86.3 mph. 343’ max distance.
Arm:  INF - 81 mph.  Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Clean arm action with good arm strength. Can drop the arm slot down when needed. Plays best from the corners, arm works from 3B.
Defense:(1B) Stride direction is good. Ability to pick the ball, moves the feet well for size. (3B) Feet work well, puts himself in a good spot to field. Limited range, definite CIF. Soft hands and consistent to transfer. 
Run: 8.04 runner in the 60. Short strides.

2023 3B/RHP Dillon Roberts (Cactus Shadows)- 6-foot-1, 220-pounds, XL frame, strong body, big lower half, wide shouldered. Left-handed hitter, spread out stance, squared base, knee turn trigger, lands wide with closed front foot. Shoulder dominant load, closes himself off a bit. Launches barrel from behind the head. Natural strength through swing with some present bat speed, accelerates the barrel with his quick hands. Pull heavy approach, mostly top-spin contact on the day, 90.3mph exit velocity via Trackman. Potential at the plate with some refinement. Some extra pre-pitch movement, active feet. Fields the ball with a wide base, usable glove, clears body to create angles. Strong arm across the diamond at 85mph. Also worked out on the mound. Fluid delivery, composed into leg kick, early front side drive, creates direction coming down the mound with some intent, long stride. Throws from a H3/4 arm slot, drops release point slightly on offspeed, short quick arm. FB has good extension at 84-86mph, topping out at 86.58 with above average run. More separation between his two breaking balls this time out. Threw a SL at 72-75mph with some slight sweep, average 11in of break to gloveside. His CV had more slurvy action, averaging 16inch of HB. Both pitches are around 2250rpm. Roberts has arm strength & some powerful actions that should be followed.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Has some obvious tools & strength/power, excessive actions at certain times. Strong follow. 
Body: 6-1, 200-pounds. Wide bodied frame, good strength, broad shoulders, durable lower half.
Defense: Athletic choppy footwork. Created momentum in OF on direct line. Usable hands at 3B, fielding underneath body with two hands.  
Arm: Left-handed. INF - 82 mph. OF - 89 mph. Plus arm, some accuracy to the target, some extra steps & build up.
Hit: LHH. Wide base, slightly open. Shifts weight into back leg with leg lift. Lands square with hands back. Starts swing with vertical barrel entry.  Short swing with quick hands, some trouble slotting the barrel. Pull heavy approach, top spin to RF. Lacked some discipline.
Power: 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Run: 7.88 runner in the 60. 

Delivery: Athletic delivery, builds up energy, stays closed until late before foot strike. Athletic finish, falls off to 1B side at times.
Arm Action: Left-handed. Quick arm, higher slot, short arm action, higher effort. 
FB: T87, 82-86 mph. Average cutting action.
SL: 69-73 mph. Best were down in the zone, showed above average potential with tight spin.

6-foot-1 200-pounds, broad shoulders, big legs, strong physical frame, above average strength. Two-way player, left-handed hitter. Starts from narrow upright base, uses a slightly gathered leg lift to transfer energy with some forward movement. Loads hands down & back into barrel tilt with high early connection. Above average bat speed for the age but takes longer to accelerate the barrel onto the swing plane. Aggressive pull approach, hit some ball in the low 90’s in live BP including a ball at 340ft. Showed decent footwork with sure hands in the infield with more quickness than 8.0 60-yard dash would suggest. Threw from the OF with good direction and above average arms strength at 86mph. Also worked out on the mound. Easy repeatable delivery, staying closed with tighter hips. Throwing with short arm action from H3/4 slot. Little erratic early before settling in. FB worked 79-83mph, mixing in a slurve.

Came out strong for AZ Athletics with a trip to the championship game on the line. From a strong thick build at 5'11" 210lbs, he displayed a relatively powerful arm. Slow but easy controlled tempo in his delivery. Gathered his energy in his back side well even messing with batters timing as part of his delivery. Arm seemed to work. He worked his FB 81-83MPH with a 67-69mph CV that was thrown for strikes early.
