2023 SS Grant Haas (Desert Vista)- 6-foot, 170-pounds, large frame, has gained significant strength with room to add more in young body, some athleticism. Right-handed hitter, squared athletic base, knee turn leg lift. Moderately noisy load, starting hands at back foot. Long level swing, accelerates on plane quickly with solid rotation & some quickness in hands. Used a middle of the field approach with some line drive contact, 87.94 exit velocity via trackman. Should improve with continuing to add strength while refining some extra movements. Hit a double down the LF line and a triple to RCF in live game action. Tense footwork with slower tempo, average body awareness & movement laterally. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Fields ball with two hands, usable glove, brings to center of the body, making transfer at chest height. Accurate arm to the bag with short arm action at 82mph.

5-foot-11 150-pounds, thin body, long frame, some athleticism & projectability. Younger brother of Arizona State commit, Hunter Haas. Raw pre-pitch movement, putting himself in position to get connected early. Good on plane efficiency. Fast hands with bad speed that should improve with added strength. Middle LD approach, 83mph exit velocity. Still developing some more feel for the SS position. Average footwork & quickness, fielding some balls flat footed. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Soft hands, working from the ground up. Arm should improve with strength & athleticism. Development should be followed.
