Young, one of the youngest arms at the event, showed a good fastball from the left side from a 2023 grads standpoint, topping at 82mph and settling in at 77-81. A real good pitchers frame, long and lean with a quick, short arm action, Young has a quick and high leg lift, hides the ball well, and gets arm side run on his fastball and changeup. Breaking ball was sharp, more 12-6 movement than anything, but had late movement and fell off the table as it crossed the hitting zone. He threw lots of strikes in his pen and overall impressed for a young arm with a lot of potential from the left side.
