2/07/22

Latimer, a 6-foot-3 185-pound Cloud County CC commit out of the North Delta Blue Jays program is one of the more impressive 2022 arms in the country. Up to 91, the arm is long and whippy with good downhill action and a high release point. The Fastball has life to it, he shows a solid off-speed mix with a slider that is tough to read out of the hand that will compliment his fastball nicely.

5/20/20

Latimer was arguably the most impressive youngster who pitched at Inside Performance in February 2020, sitting consistently at 84-85 mph with a smooth, effortless delivery. At 6-foot-2 and just 175 pounds, the North Delta Blue Jays product has a lot of room to fill out and add muscle to his frame, which should result in more velocity on the heater. Latimer showed good command of the four-seamer, while also mixing in a high 70's breaking ball and a slider with sharp break. He can also swing it well, making him one of the most exciting two-way talents in the 2022 class. At just 16-years old, there's a lot to look forward to as Latimer develops over the next couple of years.
