Letzing is a strong athletic RHH OF/C from the 2021 class who plays for the Langley Blaze. At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, he’s physically developed for his age. At the dish, Letzing possesses impressive bat speed in his right-handed swing, posting an exit velocity of 90 mph at PBR’s latest event at Inside Performance in February. Haiden has a small toe tap as a timing mechanism with his hands staying quiet during his load. Letzing primarily plays in the outfield and has good instincts and range in the alleys. The youngster has also logged some innings behind the dish and recorded a 2.11 pop time at IP. Although he struggled a bit as a Grade 10 in 24 senior games last season with a BA just above .200, we expect him to have a strong year after an impressive off-season training program. Overall, Letzing should attract plenty of interest from numerous schools with a high ceiling of projectability.
