at Sacred Heart Cathedral - Uncommitted; High energy player does all on the field with intensity and focus which is apparent right away during pre-game INF/OF, was DH in this game hitting in the 4th spot in the order, lean athletic strength and put together well, had two BB to show for five plate appearances (6-3, 2 K), while there is plenty of bat speed and hitting ability the approach was a bit 'big' in regard to getting to the baseball, barrel control and attack angle were not in sync, ran 4.65 on 6-3 put-out. Playing with his intensity has many positives though in the batters box his talents could live easier with some letting off of the gas pedal. Gut feel is that when all is said and done he will be among the top 2023 catchers in the area.
