Positional Profile: C
: 5-11, 170-pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.33 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a sweeping swing path with a high finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Heavy sweet spot % (87.5), consistent round with high level of on-plane efficiency, in control of his abilities and cognizant of what his strengths are, contact oriented all field approach.
Defensively: 2.19-2.29 pop times. C - 72 MPH. Traditional set-up for pops with hips a bit deep below his knees, has agility for the position, consistent accuracy on the bag, athletic feet and clean exchange, out of crouch well after BID block, able to sit in MULTIPLE flexible positions while receiving including the Tony Pena style, soft hands, sees ball well, outstanding receiver.

Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Athletic body type with lean strength, room in upper body frame for size gains.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, balanced weight in a crouch, stacked with hands starting back ofer back knee, medium depth load, small toe touch out to small stride. Strong top hand usage in swing, pronounced weight shift over back side, creates steep attack angle to ball while showing swing plane consistency.
Power: 88.5 max exit velocity, 20.2 hand speed max, 68.5 bat speed max, 66% on-plane efficiency.
Arm: RH. C - 72 mph. Quick arm, throws had inconsistent carry, kept throws low.
Defense: 2.05-2.18 pop times. Athletic receiver with agility and athleticism, high level receiver and worker, worked well with pitchers, blocks at high level, strongest part of his game are his catcher skills.
Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.

Body5-11, 175-pounds. Compact upper body but leaner throughout. Longer arms.
HitRHH. Is slightly open with wider set feet and hands pushed away from his body in stance. Slower gather into backside as he uses a smaller leg lift trigger. Longer wrappy swing that works on a level stroke (58.3% LD percentage). Consistent contact point out in front. More pull side approach but at times flashed some RC gap feel.
Power: 88 max exit velocity. Flashed some gap to gap power in BP. Blast metrics show potential for growth in bat speed and rotational acceleration which should help out power.
Arm: RH. C - 71 mph. Loose arm action. Would open up front side early at times which would have throwdowns sail on him. 3/5 accurate throwdowns during the workout.
Defense: 2.07-2.12 pop times. Athletic crouch. During throwdowns would hop out of his crouch. Quick feet. In game action, he would set up in many different crouches. Would stay below the ball and work up helping him steal low strikes.
Run7.29 runner in the 60.

Body: A lean 5’10” 170 pound, with good proportions and room to get stronger in both lower and upper half.

Hit: A wide base for balance and hands in a lower position to activate and stay inside the ball.  Quick leg lift, staying balanced throughout, a little bat waggle.  With leg lift, Nick gets bat angle and attacks each pitch.

Power: Using his lower half you can see the power to the opposite field.  With an exit velo of 89 mph

Arm: A max effort arm motion, he uses a short arm action.  Follows through with the short arm action and is able to get carry on his ball. Pop times ranging from 2.07-2.12

Defense: Setup is balanced, with feet square, shoulder width apart.  Provides low target, and presents the glove early for the pitchers.  Feet move quickly to block, and make transfers.  Very athletic behind the plate

Run: 7.29 runner in the 60 yd dash

Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Lean body, sinewy strength, athletic proportions.
Hit: RHH. Deep in box, crouched, wider feet, hands start over backside, small stretch load, starts slightly open to striding slightly closed. Some wrap of barrel prior to swing unleashing from lower hand slot, slight upward stroke through contact.
Power: 85 max exit velocity
Arm: RH. C - 73 mph. Loose quick arm, pocket backside as feet get ready to throw, flashed arm talent that can be honed and refined as he gets more consistent.
Defense: 2.10-2.16 pop times. Athletic actions, quick feet, has agility, bounces out of crouch quickly, stays down as receiver vs cheat mechanics many catchers use in workouts, gets low below pitch as a receiver, outstanding rhythm, can receive in ALL the various set-up positions.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.

N CA Underclass Games

: 5-foot-9, 160-pounds. Lean, average athletic build, well-proportioned, has frame to fill out
Hit: RHH. Athletic and balanced set-up with slight knee crouch, big knee lift pushing his weight back over back foot, aggressive stride closed off slightly at foot strike which can create some inconsistencies in barrel control on pitches not exactly where he wants them, athletic throughout the swing and has confidence. There is some pronounced barrel wrap behind his head in the loading process which can create some length and timing challenges. Lively swing and plenty to like here as he develops.
Power: 78 mph EV off tee
Arm: Catcher velo - 68 mph - Inconsistent accuracy to the bag but flashed a throw or two where you can see the chance to develop into quality C/T player. Footwork can clean up where not moving as far toward RHH box as he replaces his feet, which affects length of the delivery as well as energy of the throw.
Defense: 2.19-2.29 Pop-times - See notes in the arm section for C/T mechanics. Common theme of his athleticism showed up as well in catching, agility is there, quick feet, block effort for BIDs was outstanding, can clean up some of the technique and mechanics such as his base in the crouch. Sits a bit high which can limit the ability to work below the ball. There is raw talent and tools that will be smoothed out as he develops.
Run: 7.68 60-yard
