Direct downward path with extended follow through. Gap to gap hitter and he's demonstrated the ability to keep hands inside on the fastball. Great rotational and lateral movement to ball. Balanced finished with an exit velocity of 88.
Power: Can see Braden continuing a gradual progression to power. Will hit for high average.
Arm: Pop times of 1.90-2.00. Quick twitch and quick arm/release. 79 mph behind the plate.
Defense: Higher setup. Great weight transfers with momentum to throw. Easy ball transfer. Feet work well. Would consider Braden one of the top catching prospects in Colorado's 2022 class.
