6-foot-0, 165-pound RHP/MIF. Repeatable mechanics on the mound. Gets to a good balance point and drives to the plate. Good extension out front on the release. Arm action is long and live, high ¾ slot. Fastball has straight life through the zone, sat 85-88 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, flashed tight spin, 64-67 mph. Changeup sinks, near fastball arm speed, 71-74 mph. Finished with a 65-67 mph Slider with late sharp break out of the zone.

6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Bats and throws right. Throws from high 3/4 arm slot with good extension to the plate. Game we watched in Slammers Labor Day tournament, pitching for Colorado Rockies Select team, Hayes lived 83-84 with fastball touching 86 once. Strike thrower with good 3-pitch. Curve lived 69-70 mph with 11/5 shape. Change was 75-76 mph with some fade. Competes on the mound. Will be one of the anchors of the Arapahoe pitching staff in 2018.
