Hit: RHH Open Stance with small leg lift to load. Gets to stacked position with momentum created from the front side. Tendency of stride foot is to stay open to 3rd base side. Arm angles are maintained in load with slight trigger and bat wave with hands.
Barrel gets to zone early with extended length through zone. The path is repeatable and has an upward lift and finish. Pull side dominant. Aggressive with attack on each swing. Created 90 Exit Velo. Good follow as I see continued development as 2020
Power: Definitely shows power potential. Will benefit with is strength to add quickness to his swing path. Still room to grow
Arm: OF Velo 83 Limited arc on backside of throw with good extension on front side Demonstrated ease and arm strength in previous videos. 2 Way potential. Previous Videos also as Catcher!
Defense: OF Defensive actions were limited, timing and effort directed to throwing
3/10/19
5-foot-9, 150-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP who ran a 6.93 laser timed 60. Athletic open stance at the plate with hands relaxed and show some flow. Hands load back with some rhythm and uses a small toe tap to stride landing on line. Bat gets on plane early and stays through the hitting zone. Good use of the lower half and finishes it completely with some balance. Exit velo was 76 mph off the live pitch. Works behind the ball on defense with active feet on approach. Exchange is clean and moves to a longer arm circle throwing from a three-quarter arm slot at 75 mph. Stretch pitcher with hands held high at balance. Tall and fall motion to the plate and lands in-line on his delivery. Arm is over the top with consistent speed on his pitches. Fastball as 74-76 mph and straight. Curve had 11/5 shape and sat 67-68 mph, he finished with a 71-72 mph change with late sink.
10-28-17 5-foot-8, 128-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a slow load on the pitch. Good lower leg drive on the swing. Hands come through the zone on an uphill path. Exit velocity was 78 MPH. In the field he showed good athletic actions and instincts. He has soft hands and a good glove to hand transfer. Arm Velocity was 74 MPH. On the mound he gets to balanced and sinks and drives to the plate. Will benefit from a stronger lower leg drive. Delivery is from a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was 72 MPH with good location. He added a 61 MPH Curve with sweeping break and a 62 MPH Change to finish his session.
