Baylor commit. Lots to like seeing the LHP for the 1st time. Wilkerson sat 86-88 mph, commanding the fastball mainly to his arm-side, getting 1 K with the fastball to glove-side while throwing his slider at 75-76 mph flashing the ability to land it in the zone while also getting swings and misses. He works with a quick tempo and a short arm action that causes hitters to pick up the ball late out of his hand.
Starts in the middle of the mound with a shoulder width apart set up. Side step with small toe tap into a high leg lift. High hands on leg lift. Lands with a closed front foot. Long, over-the-top arm action. FB ranging from 75-76. CH 65-66. CB 60-61. Will add velo when his body matures

Hit: Left-Handed hitter with neutral, athletic set-up. Small, controlled leg lift. Bat starts on shoulder and goes back with stride, good job staying on his back side. Great extension through the ball, aggressive pull hitter with a one handed finish.

Arm: OF, 75 from the outfield, high 3/4 loose arm action.
Defense: Athletic outfielder who does a good job working through the ball. Good footwork with a clean crow hop.
