Committed to Xavier and currently ranked 14 in the 2015 class. 5-foot-11, 155 pounds. Throws right. Has very loose arm from high 3/4 arm slot showing advanced arm action. Coming down from balance point upper body is slightly uphill then created good down angle. Explosive lower half throwing off two-feet with good leg drive. Lands in-line towards the plate and slightly falls off to first. Fastball was consistently 88-89 with a curve/slurve that comes in at 72 mph with advance deception at 10/4 angle. Has great arm-action on this pitch. Works at a fast pace. Came in with bases loaded in top of 6th with 1 out and threw one pitch to induce inning ending pop-up off bunt with runner doubled up at 3rd. Was 1.1 to the plate with runner on first.
5-11 150 lb. RHP. Has room to grow with thin frame. Throws from a 3/4 release point but will also change arm slot to create deception. Due to this mid 80's fastball has good run. Throws three pitches, all for strikes. Will change speed on curve ball. Competes on mound. Player to follow in 2015..
