Hough is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound corner infield prospect and right-handed pitcher in the 2021 recruiting class. At the event, he ran a 7.03 second 60, and posted and exit velocity of 82 mph. At the plate, he showed some rhythm with hands, in line stride, level bat path, works to get arms extended, remains balanced throughout, showed line drive contact to the middle of the field during round. Defensively, showed some athleticism on the infield, quick to the baseball, clean transfers, momentum towards target, long arm, over the top release, positional velocity of 78 mph. Stretch pitcher only with a clean lift and driving action to the plate. Arm is over the top with good extension out front. Fastball had life and sat 82-84 mph. Curve was a good secondary pitch with tight spin and 11/5 shape and was 66-68 mph. Change had late sink and was 60-62 mph.
1-27-19 Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 190 pounds. Hough hits from a balanced stance with a slight crouch. Load is short and down which creates an uphill swing through hitting zone, short to contact with hand and with good extension through the baseball. A lot of strength in swing, and power potential. During live hitting round showed ability to barrel every pitch with solid contact with pull side tendencies.. Registered a 90 mph Exit velo off the tee. Strong upper half and build. You can see the power potential moving forward. Showcased a strong arm from over the top arm slot with accuracy at 79 mph. Lateral movement to both sides was good with soft hands. Ran a simulated 4.15 home to first time hitting off a tee.
