Sets up in a balanced stance then uses a long stride. Bat speed is average, uses a long uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid In the infield, shows a clean exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot.

Hit: (RHH) Solid. Setup is comprised of a balanced stance and a long stride. Average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, long uphill swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: , average 78.44 mph. 66.85 mph bat speed average. 18.76 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Solid.  Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm:  Loose arm action, high ¾ slot. 

6-foot-3, 180-pound lean, long, with plenty of room for added weight gains. Athletic at the plate, Powers had an exit velocity of 87 mph. Began in a tall balanced stance with a smooth small load, then used a controlled stride. Had a short level swing plane,above average bat speed and high finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels.Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was registered at 70 mph; had next level hands, a twitchy exchange, and athletic smooth footwork.Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.81.  Showed extremely well on both sides of the field.

6-foot-3, 180-pound  long and athletic, showing plenty of room for added weight gains. Projectable on the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has a tall balance point and inline shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 75-76 mph; with a max of 77 mph; had control low in the zone and sinking action. Throws his 12/6 curveball 63-65 mph with early action and consistent command. Throws his 12/6 curveball 63-65 mph; with consistent command and early action. His changeup 68-70 mph has fading action and low in the zone command.  The delivery works with easy effort, throws a ton of strikes, look for velocity to climb at some point. 

6-foot, 140-pound, longer, lean athletic frame. The neck is long, squared off shoulders with a wider back, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting two-way pitcher/infielder. At the plate taller stance, feet slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are set higher, swing has lift to it, creates backspin to the baseball. The approach was more to pull gap, had a tee exit velocity of 75 mph and ran an 8.08 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, shows to have solid actions, feet move and gets around the baseball, fields out front, quick transfer into throwing hand. The actions and movements are super soft and moves very well. The arm has average length with velocity of 68 mph across the diamond. Showed the ability to turn it from both sides. Off the mound, simple, tall, good direction with length to stride foot. The arm works out of a higher 3/4 slot. The fastball came out easy at 70-71 mph along with a plus changeup at 66-68 mph. The breaker was at 62-63 mph,  time will tell which way he goes, needs strength.

5-foot-8, 130-pond, smaller, thin athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, neck is longer, with room for future development. A right-handed hitting middle infielder. At the plate, hands are loose, start higher, bat starts in a tilted position. The front foot starts slightly open, for timing uses a simple pick up and put down with stride foot. The swing is down to level, finishes with one hand, barrel has some life and flick out front on contact. The approach is more line drive to the pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 68 mph and ran a 8.51 sixty- yard dash. Defensively, controlled prep steps, gets around the baseball with momentum moving towards target, works low to the ground, fielding out front. The transfer is clean, no wasted movement to throwing arm. The arm works out of ¾ to high ¾ slot, arm being clocked at 62 mph, had good touch on all throws. The starts and feeds were performed correct, clean open hip play. The action on slow roller was smooth with good timing and rhythm. Potential to stick as a shortstop down the road, big follow. Strength and overall speed conditioning will aid in his development.
