3/17/21

6-foot-2, 190-pound  athletic, mature, strong, and powerful frame. Above average on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a short arm action while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Tall balance point with inline shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 76-78 mph; had a heavy fastball that showed sinking action and arm side control. Has consistent command and fading action on his changeup 71-72 mph. Throws a 2/8 slider 67-69 mph; with control low in the zone and late action.  Projects out as a bullpen arm, slider has a chance to be an out pitch, swing and miss at times. Like the aggressiveness, how he attacks.

8/05/20

6-foot-1, 180-pound, stronger, larger athletic frame, rounded shoulders, with a wider back, showing plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, that worked out as a position player as well. Off the mound the delivery is simple, quick leg kick, with lean back in the gather position, small drop on the backside. The stride is inline, small spin off prior to release, could get out front more on release with extension. The arm action is clean, works from a higher slot, clocked 79 mph, showing arm side run to it. The breaking ball, clocked at 64 mph, has a bigger break, thrown for strikes, will need to add more fastball hand speed. Two-pitch, solid bullpen option at some point.  At the plate, feet start even, sits in a small squat, hands are loose at the shoulders. The swing is level through the zone, showing more of a pull approach. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph, showing plus pop at times. Ran a 7.19 sixty-yard dash, long strider, moves well. From the outfield arm was clocked at 76 mph, all throws on target. The approach is under control, using shuffle for the transfer. Projects for me off the mound at the next level.

Exit Velocity: 87 mph

Arm Velocity: 76 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.19
