Jeter Andrews: LHP/OF, (2026) Choate Rosemary Hall, CT. 6-foot, 150-pound. Solid on the mound, used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Has a strong balance point with downhill shoulders. Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2208; Avg 2115). Throws a 1/7 curveball (67-68) with some action. (Max spin 2401; Avg 2325). His changeup (73-74) had slight fading action.
3/06/22
5-foot-9, 136-pound, thin, athletic frame with room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitter, a spread out approach, hands are loose and relaxed at the shoulders. The swing is short to contact, level to up path, middle to pull side approach. The swing works with minimal effort, had an exit velocity of 78 mph, look for a jump at some point. Ran well for a younger player at 7.41, long stride. Off the mound works from the left-side, has an up-tempo delivery, lift is athletic with coil. The direction is inline, backside comes through with some effort. The arm action is clean and free, working from a 3/4 to high 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 74 mph with life, solid spin on the breaking ball at 62 mph. Showed feel for the change up as well. A three pitch guy, will need to add strength.
Exit Velocity: 78 mph
