Began in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, displays an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 84 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.34. On the mound, used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Changeup (69-71 mph). Sat with his fastball at 79-80 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1875; Avg 1727). Threw a 10/4 slider (71-72) with late action. (Max spin 2192; Avg 2144).
