Left-handed hitter, middle to pull side approach, quiet setup, simple down path to the baseball, drove it well to the right-center gap. A good runner, ran a sub 7 sixty-yard dash.

Rocco DeMaio III: 3B/RHP, (2026) Hopkins, CT. 5-foot-10, 170-pound. (70.8 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had a short simple swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.11 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Changeup (68-69 mph). Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph and topped out at 80 mph; Has slight running action. (Max spin 2026; Avg 1903). His curveball (63-64) showed some action. (Max spin 1938; Avg 1786).

5-foot-9, 155-pound, strong, solid athletic frame, stronger wrists and forearms. A left-handed hitter, lower hands set, even feet, uses a small clean toe tap for timing, gaining ground. The swing is short to contact, level to up path. The approach is more middle to pull side, has enough juice to beat the outfielders for his age. The exit velocity was clocked 83 mph and ran a 7.11 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, shows good flow, hands and feet work well together. Working low and out front, hands are soft on the catch. The arm action is short and crisp, clocked at 74 mph. Projecting out to stick on the left-side. Off the mound, the delivery is uptempo, building momentum down the mound. The lift is athletic, arm works quickly from a 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 75 mph with arm side run. Mixed in a slurvey breaking ball at 60 mph and threw the changeup for strikes. Good looking young athlete.
