Physical: Well put together, athletic profile with some top of the order characteristics (5-10, 170lbs). 7.07 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - The lefty started from an open, balanced stance with the barrel resting backwards on the shoulder. Utilized a leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone; great bat to ball skills with a mature approach at the plate. Found plenty of success hitting head high line drives through the middle of the field, wherever they were pitched. Recorded a 67% on-plane efficiency via Blast Motion and an 88 mph bat-exit velocity during his batting practice round. Very efficient hitter that doesn’t try to do too much.
Defensively: LF/CF projection with good reads off the bat, stays behind the ball in the air, ready to throw with active momentum at release (high ¾, 78 mph). Fielded with confidence on the move off of the right foot, using a clean exchange into the chest area.
Body: 5’10’’, 170 pounds. Strong, athletic body type.
Hit: LHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load with some hand separation. Small leg kick with an extended stride. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement. Quick hands through the zone with a strong one handed finish. Middle of the field, gap to gap line drive approach. A more level swing path with good extension through the zone and past contact.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Present pull side pop
Arm: RH. OF - 84 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball well with quick active feet and a slight crow hop. Consistent clean exchanges with throws on line that showed occasional carry.
Run: 7.62 60-yard time.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 168 pounds; athletic, lean frame. 7.39 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open, slightly spread stance; brings hands back along with a medium leg kick. engaged lower half, long stride after his leg kick with swing works uphill through contact producing a high average launch angle; 16 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Bredickas is able to produce 15.7 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 47%. Consistent pull side flyballs; average Trackman exit velocity of 75.39 MPH; peak exit velo was 90 MPH.
Defensively: Begins upright and relaxed; controlled, upright approach of the ball, consistent footwork to field the ball on his glove side. soft hands fielding the ball outside his glove foot, clean transfers; long arm swing; low 3/4 arm slot. OF - 81 MPH.
5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a short leg-lift stride to begin. Stays in legs well and showed a line drive approach with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and athletic actions defensively with above average 85 mph arm strength from the outfield.
5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to begin. Displayed balance and rhythm to his swing with a solid feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Showcased athletic defensive actions and played through the baseball routinely with 82 mph arm strength to home plate.
