Maryland Preseason All-State Session II

Body: 5’10’’, 160 pounds. Lean, athletic frame with some strength present.
Hit: RHH. Wide, upright stance to begin; utilized a leg lift stride to a controlled, balanced position over the backside before initiating through a slightly vertical path with lift at extension. Recorded a 31% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball while generating noticeable bat to ball skills in the box with a short turn (84% on plane per Blast Motion). Offers a sneaky power ceiling as well with rotational acceleration numbers approaching 23 G’s of force through impact. Solid look in the box with confidence present during a solid BP round. 
Power: 88 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Developing doubles power at the moment and liked pitches up and over the plate to do damage. 
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Moderate, high ¾ slot with accuracy across the diamond. 
Defense: Adequate approach on the way through with a medium, low posture at the fielding window, showed off a soft glove hand with slight down chest angles allowing for minimal momentum towards the target; liked to move to the glove hand side, beating the ball to the spot before corralling. 
Run: 8.13 60-yard time.

Preseason All-State Session III

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5’10”, 160 pounds. Athletic, projectable frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate. High leg kick load and works short to the ball with a more level swing path. Showed quick hands and quick bat speed through the zone. Swing with intent and stays behind the ball very well. Keeps head down on the ball through contact and generates strong lower half involvement. Gets great extension past contact and finishes the swing hard with two hands. Worked mostly line drives to the pull side during BP squaring up several balls. 
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Developing power with some present to the pull side gap. 
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Works through the ball with active feet fielding it out in front. Moves well in the infield showing range and a slight glove tap in exchange. 
Run: 4.91 home-to-first time.

MD Freshman Free Showcase 1.26.19

Athletic body type and 5’7’’, 135 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Quick load with a medium sized, quarter turn leg kick. Showed quick bat speed and a level swing path. Has a tendency to get long at times. Stays behind the ball with good extension through contact and a strong finish. Generates some lower half involvement in swing and recorded a 73 mph exit velocity. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with pop. Squared up several balls in BP. Works through the ball in the infield with a solid base and fundamental footwork. Showed quick, clean exchanges and throws with short arm action from over the top at 68 mph.
