5/28/16- Florida State commit who stands at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds with a tall, lean, athletic, and projectable body with loose and natural actions. He is ranked 2^nd in Florida and 10^th overall. He has a clean and easy delivery on the mound with a loose, high ¾ arm action. Everything is very repeatable and he has the fastball/curveball/changeup arsenal that indicates him being a future starter. At FACA he sat 86-90 mph and showed an advanced 1/7 curveball that had good depth and some sharpness. He did not show his best stuff at the event but he was good enough to solidify himself as being arguably the top pitching prospect in Florida.

3/14/16 - Florida St recruit. 6-foot-4, 190 pound lefty with a tall lean loose athletic projectable body. Similar to Cole Hamels. Deep in back with a slightly high front side. Wrist wrap in back. Occasionally pulls off line and yanks ball. Loose easy working arm with a fluid delivery. Over hand arm slot. Fast ball has good down-hill plane with some sink down in the zone at 86-92 mph. Curve ball is a downer with depth at 73-76 mph. Inconsistent release out front. Occasionally casts the breaking ball up and out of his hand, but when he gets out front, it’s a plus pitch. Change up is 78-80 mph. Good arm speed. Is an average pitch. Will improve with reps. Aggressive. Pitches inside. Stuff is really good when release is out front with extension. Gets in trouble when he doesn’t repeat and misses up. 4.1 inn, 4 hits, 4 runs, 3 BB, 5 K’s. Stuff and high ceiling make him a high 2016 draft.

6/19/15 - Florida St commit. 6-foot-4, 190 pound lefty with a tall lean athletic projectable body with a wide back and strength in lower half. Loose quick arm at a high ¾ slot. Fluid delivery with a lot of upside in body and arm. Fast ball was 88-91 mph with good down tilt and tailing life. Curve ball was 70-71 mph with ¾ rotation. Release was inconsistent on breaking ball but had very good rotation. Very athletic body with a high ceiling.
