Long, lean and projectable 6-foot-1, 168 pound frame. Defensively, he is under control with sound defensive action. Could improve rhythm and first step quickness, but hands work with confidence. Offensively, he is balanced and simple. Drops his hands on load which creates some length at times, but also creates some leverage and line drives with an exit velocity of 81 mph.
12/16/17
Lanky third baseman who has plenty of room to fill out. Will need to improve arm strength to stay at third, but hands work and should continue to improve with added strength. Offensively, he uses his long arms well. Can get out over front foot, but creates leverage and has strong wrists with present pull power for the class. He has a feel for the barrel and some offensive upside.
6/01/17
Very athletic and projectable, he has sound footwork and hands in the infield. As he continues to gain reps, the rhythm to and through the ball should improve, but the mechanics are sound in the infield. The right handed hitter has a wide base with a simple load. Although there is some steepness in the path at times, when he is level through the zone he consistently finds the barrel with a line drive, gap-to-gap approach. Very athletic with plenty of upside.
