Athletic frame at 5 foot 10 inches with room for growth. Has above average hands with an average arm with accuracy and some carry. Moves fluid with his foot work and has a great 1st step and plays through the ball. Balanced approach from the left side at the plate with a smooth and easy load that stays level with bat path through the zone. Hits line drives with good extension and has great barrel awareness.
01/13/18- Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds with a lean, athletic build and some quick twitch. In the field he takes good angles, fields the ball out in front, and shows sure hands and could benefit working with a bit more rhythm through the ball. Throws to the bag topped out at 80 mph. Offensively, he shows a simple stride and separation. He is short to the ball with loose hands, but could benefit from more use of the lower half. Overall, a twitchy athlete with potential.
