2/16/16 - Vanderbilt recruit. 5-foot-11, 180 pound short stop with an athletic body that continues to gain strength. Smooth fielding actions with an above average ML arm. Good carry on throws. Average type range with good infield instincts. Soft quick hands. Will need to continue to improve on angles to balls at the next level. Loose quick bat with doubles power. Stays inside ball well and can drive ball in both gaps. Swing occasionally gets big with lift. Continues to gain strength. Ball jumps off bat a bit more each year. Is getting some pro interest but may be more ready after college. 4.35 to 1B. went 2-5 with 4 RBIs. Smoked a double in RC gap.
2/18/15 - Vanderbilt commit. 5-foot-11, 180 pound infielder with a loose athletic body and very good actions with soft hands. Very good defender that squares a lot of balls up and uses the whole field. Good hand eye. Some quickness in hands with a good path. Barrel stays in zone. Bat will improve with added strength. Tonight was 1-3 with a single line drive to right center field.
12/28/14 - Loose lean athletic projectable body on medium sized frame. Very good actions in infield with soft hands. Good instincts with good reads and angles. Very advanced defensively for a young guy. Plenty of arm for SS. Solid avg ML arm. Very simple quiet appraoch at the plate. Some quickness in hands with a good path. Very good hand eye. Squares up a lot of balls and uses the whole field. Bat will continue to improve with physical maturity. Ran a 7.1, 60.
