10/24/17- The Florida State recruit sat 89-92 mph early, settling in at 89-90, with finish to his fastball. It comes out of his hand well and gets on hitters quickly, causing a lot of swings and misses. He also has a wipeout slider at 77-80 mph and flashed a breaking ball with more depth at 76 mph.
10/15/17- Florida State recruit. Lean, projectable frame that has continued to fill out, most noticeably in his lower half recently. He throws from a very clean. short , high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 88-91 mph, touching 93 with downhill life and command down in the zone to both sides of the plate. Also mixed in a 75-79 mph curveball with depth and a feel for a 79-80 mph changeup. Anderson shows plus feel to pitch and dominated quality hitters for three innings. He is calm and composed on the mound, the arm action works and has more room to grow. The above average to plus pitchability coupled with the high ceiling made him one of the most interesting players on the weekend.
02/25/17 - Florida State recruit. Currently ranked No. 25 in the Florida Class of 2018, No. 106 Overall. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with a lean, lanky, projectable build with long legs. Quick arm with a simple, repeatable delivery. Works with a good pace and throws first pitch strikes. Fastball mostly sits 89-90 mph, touching 91 several times with some cutting action to it. Also mixes in an 84-85 mph change up with some sink to it, curveball sits at 73-76 mph with sharp break and depth to it. Knows how to pitch, more velocity to come as he fills out his frame.
07/22/16- Florida State recruit. At 6-foot-2 170 pounds he worked at 86-88 mph on the fastball with a loose easy over-the-top arm actions and late life. He has a good feel for pitching, holding runners, pace of the game and more advanced tendencies for his class. His slider worked at 73 mph with tight spin and late action. He is a projectable arm with above average feel who will continue to get better as he gains strength and utilizes his strong lower half.
