Stands 5-foot-11, 163 pounds. Fastball ranged between 71-75 with low effort. Clean arm action and gets some run on the FB. 12-6 CB sat 59-63 with average spin and break. Hands at 1B are clean and out in front. Arm strength doesn’t stand out, but throws at 1B are firm. Offensively, he utilizes a calm approach. Could benefit from sinking into the swing more and creating more drive from the backside. Had trouble staying on top of the ball at times, but when barrelled, had some hard line drives.
Right handed hitter hits with an upright stance, with a short stride and has a slightly uphill path. Will see benefits with better use from the lower half and as he continues to grow and become stronger. On the mound, he has a repeatable delivery and throws from a 3/4 slot. Fastball works 68-70 mph while the curveball worked at 58 mph.
