Cape Cod: Will transfer to NC State after seeing limited action in three years at Clemson. He showed some pitchability and competitiveness in our look this summer, working at 87-90 with a quality tumbling 81-83 changeup and a useful low-80s slider with decent tilt. His high three-quarters delivery has some head funk that adds deception.

10/20/18

Clemson recruit was a big standout at Diamond Club the week prior and was a highly attended outing. He was not quite the same velocity as the week prior, but continues to show why he is on the rise and will be a close follow going in to the spring. The frame is extremely projectable, arm works clean and both slider and changeup are above average. Labriola has made an impact to finish the fall and will be interesting to see how he comes out to start the spring.

10/12/18 - Clemson commit. 6-foot-6, 187-pound left-handed pitcher may have had the best single inning of the weekend. While he fell off some in his second inning, the first inning he worked from a tough 3/4 slot and pounded the strike zone at 87-90 mph. The lean frame, has added strength, and has a clean and compact arm action. Works downhill and showed a much improved, hard slider at 72 mph, with two-plane action. Also showed a changeup at 79 mph and a cutter at 81 mph. Overall, there is a huge ceiling and could see him skyrocket up draft boards if he continues to make jumps.

10/01/18 - Clemson recruit. Standing at 6-foot-6, 185 pounds, he looks to have somewhat filled out the long, projectable frame. The fastball was working 86-89 mph and can see quite a bit more to come. There is life and feel to pitch with two potential average to above average offspeed pitches. Overall, he is projectable and continues to trend in the right direction.

5/20/18

Clemson recruit. The 6-foot-5, 185 pound left hander has made some big stride and may have been the biggest standout on the mound. The long limbs have started to work more in sync and it translated to high number of strikes. Struck out the side in his first inning, worked mostly 87-88 mph with arm side run at the bottom of the zone. Curveball was much improved, ranging from 67-68 mph, it has some hard, late depth and consistently threw the pitch for strikes. Overall, the mechanics have continue to improve and the stuff is trending upward, with much more to come. Will be interesting to see how many jumps he makes this summer.

1/27/18

Clemson recruit. Currently stands 6-foot-5, 185 pounds with a lean, tall frame with lots of projection. On the mound he displayed a loose, easy working arm out of the ¾ slot from the left side. Showed a feel for all three pitches and the ability to work both sides of the plate. He featured a fastball that sat between 83-85 mph, touching 86 with run while also mixing in a changeup that sat at 76-77 mph and a back-door slider at 69-72 mph. Look for Labriola to see jumps in velocity as he continues to add to his frame.

10/12/16

Committed to Clemson University.

10/09/16

Tall, lean, lanky, and projectable build on a 6-5, 175 pound frame. Loose arm that sat 80-82 mph, touching 83, 84 at times while mixing in a 65-66 mph curveball and a 73-74 mph change up. At times can fall off to the side with his delivery, but gets some extension out in front. When he lands in line, he is able to stay in the zone and show a good mix of his pitches.
