5/20/15 - Big thick heavy body. Explosive bat speed and strength. Didn’t necessarily take a great BP over the weekend, but again I’ve seen him hit moon shots, both in BP and in games. Has plenty of loft in his swing. Must be more consistent in his approach in order to increase contact frequency. He gets in trouble when he becomes a pull hitter. Tends to work around the ball and lose power. When he is locked in, he drives ball in both gaps with power, and is a much better hitter with much more hard contact.

Big body with huge LH power. Is starting to get to more of his power with more frequent hard contact. Occasionally pulls off ball. Dangerous when he stays inside ball and uses whole field. Can hit the ball out to all fields. Will be one of the better LH power bats in 2015 draft. The more he hits, the better he becomes defensively. Also throws 90 mph off the mound.
