Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Shorter arm action with a 3/4 slot Defense: Soft hands and a confident glove Run: 7.51 runner in the 60.
8/19/20
Physical: 6-foot-2, 180 pounds; long, wiry frame that could be added to . 7.44 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even set up with a pre-barred out front arm; picks up foot and places right back down with minimal shift in hands. Long lower half, minimal effort with some hip clearance with quick bat as he keeps his hands tight on his body with good barrel speed through contact. Sprayed line drives to the right half of the field, showed the ability to stay behind the baseball and take it the other way with strength; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH. Defensively: Very athletic abilities from first base, stays low to the ground; moves well off the bag into a quick turn and throw to second base. Clean hands with a a seamless field/throw process; loose, whippy arm out of a low slot suitable for a quick turn and throw . INF - 76 MPH. Pitching: Quick tempo to his delivery and really gets on hitters quick using his length down the slope to his advantage. Loads of arm speed through the throwing window with a large downhill plane through the delivery. FB: T 80MPH, 76-80 MPH. Fastball could be thrown down in the zone with a sink effect on it due to the below average spin rate. Expect velo to see a jump in the near future. CB: 60-63 MPH. Slows down arm somewhat into the delivery of his CB, the pitch could benefit more if he maintains similar arm speed to his FB. That being said, there is still good shape and hard break to his CB. CH: 72-73 MPH. Showed the ability to throw a quality changeup down in the zone with a good change in speed from FB.
