Sabom has been making continuous strides on the mound going back to last summer, and opened his final spring season with a bang, going six strong innings with just one hit and no walks while punching out 12 in a win. Sinker at 89-92 gets heavy sink and arm-side run while filling up the strike zone at will. Mid-70s slider plays up with plus command and ability to manipulate shape to add sweep. Changeup at 78-80 flashed as well with the ability to create in-zone misses with the entire mix really standing out. Over 20 swings and misses created in the outing. Above-average command has always been a carrying tool for Sabom, but the stuff is equally impressive.
