South Carolina Commit. Bruce put on a display in day 2 for the Eagles, showing pop with a couple of 100+ EVs. In his first at bat, he produced loud contact right at the defender with an L7. His next appearance was also a tough battle ending in another loud out to an outfielder, just missing it, resulting in a loud F8. His next two ABs, however, no bad luck came his way. With a runner on in a back and forth game, he rocketed a ball at 103EV over the 1B head, unfortunately getting caught in the netting for a GR 2B, otherwise would have batted a run in. Regardless, he came around to score one of his two runs of the morning matchup. His next AB was when NCCS needed him most, launching a no doubter, putting his squad up in a great game. The future gamecock proved why he’s been a name on many people’s lists this weekend. An already athletic build and some maturity to come, Bruce’s ceiling is rising.

Uncommitted.Bruce had a strong game in game 1 of the Final 4 against rockmart. The 2022 Junior Future Gamer picked up two hits and three RBI’s including the RBI to walk it off in the game 1 victory. Bruce has shown good strides at the plate and has really started to grow into his frame. Bruce has seen time on the mound this year as well for North Cobb Christian. Carson will be a good name to follow in the State Championship and throughout the summer.
