Which generates easy carry to the pull-side. Newell put together quality PAs all afternoon long and was an extremely tough out in the 2-spot. The recent Gardner-Webb commit holds a mature approach at the plate with an impressive hit/power combo to match. Newell brings a plethora of tools to the top of the order for a stout Eagles lineup, that is 4-0 to open region play.
