Georgia Southern commit. Thompson has been seeing the ball really well as of late. He was 4 for 4 with 2 triples, a double, and a bunt single in game 1. He is versatile in the field and at the plate. He has the ability to hit balls out of the yard, or lay down a drag bunt and get to first in under 4 seconds. Athletes like Thompson are key factors on any winning team. He is a leader on the field, and carries himself with confidence. He will be key in their success as they head into the state playoffs next week.

Body: 6-2, 190-pounds. Higher waisted, ahtletic and proportional frame.
Hit: LHH. Slightly closed stance, lower hand set. Smaller leg lift into the swing, present power from the left side. Worked to the middle and pull side during BP. 71.2 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 mph. 302' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-87 mph. OF-90 mph. Glove pat into throw, strong arm.
