This was my first look at Turner and it was clear to see that the uncommitted junior’s profile holds P4 upside. Abundance of twitch and athleticism litters the 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame with strength to project. The RHH came through with a couple of loud barrels in my look at him Thursday afternoon. Syncs up well in a big leg-kick load and maintains balance through the zone. Explosive hands in-zone while creating good length and separation with leverage through the zone. Present barrel feel with impact at contact and ability to spray the ball line-to-line. Impact defender at SS with excellent instincts and lateral quickness to either side while showing arm strength to match. Glove profiles in-the-dirt up-the-middle long term. It’s a tooled up profile and with a strong rest of the spring and summer circuit, Turner could garner interest from a numerous D1 schools this Fall.
