Body load with easy rhythm in hands, gap to gap hitter, routinely squares baseball with authority, consistent at plate, and is one of better bats in Iowa 2020 class, 90 mph exit velocity. Works low to ground, light on his feet, sure hands, athletic actions, follows throws across infield, 82 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; short arm action with quickness and extension out front. Fastball has solid life at 77-79 mph and throws above avg. breaking ball with tight spin, shape, and has ability to throw for strikes consistently.

3/11/18- 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.56 runner. Square stance, easy rhythm, consistently on time, barrels baseball, hard contact, mid/pull approach, above avg. round of bp, strong follow and one of top projectable bats in class, 89 mph exit velocity. Above avg. footwork and actions, plays with bounce in step, soft hands, easy effort, shows body control with ability to throw from multiple arm angles with accuracy, 82 mph arm across infield. On mound; shows solid body control and tempo in delivery, compact arm action with good hand speed and extension to plate. High percentage of strikes and fills up zone with three pitches. Fastball was 80-82 mph with slight running action to plate. Solid consistent shape on 11/5 breaking ball with ability to land for strikes. Late fade and sink, above avg. feel, for quality changeup.

7/31/17- 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 4.76 home-to-first time. Fluid athletic swing, easy leg kick trigger, flashes pop in bat, mid/pull approach, occasional loud contact to gaps, 86 mph exit velocity. Clean arm action with carry to bag, solid actions, fields out front with soft hands, has above avg. actions, 81 mph arm across infield. On mound; controlled delivery, long clean arm action, with extension and finish on release. Fastball was 78-80 mph, occasional life, with late cutting action. 11/5 breaking ball has tight spin with late small break for strikes. Changeup is thrown with above avg. arm action creating solid fade and sink. Strong follow in 2020 class.
