3/11/18- 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. #58 player in IA 2019 class and will make significant jump in rankings. Simple rocker step into athletic tuck and turn balance point, compact arm action and delivers from ¾ slot. Slight cross-fire delivery; lands towards third base side. Ball jumps out of hand with life; late run and sink at 85-87 mph. Breaking ball has tight spin, consistent shape, and sharper 11/5 break for strikes. Changeup has late running action with flashes of above avg. fade.
8/13/17- 6-foot-1, 175 pound two way player ran a 7.19 60 yard sprint. Athletic build. Topped out at 81 mph on the mound, arm works well on the backside and is long outfront, twitchy actions. Steps across his body some. Aggressive front side. Tight spin on 65-69 mph breaking ball with depth. At the plate, open stance, leg kick trigger, linear barrel path, strong contact to pullside. Posted an exit velocity of 76 mph off a tee. Athletic actions in the infield, feet work well, extra tap in release, topped out at 79 mph across the infield.
