Agile behind the plate, moving well laterally to block balls in the dirt. Quick catch and throw, recording 2.08-2.20 pop times to second with consistent accuracy. Simple approach from the right side, looking to drive balls up the middle.

4/29/18- 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.64 runner. Slight crouch with open stance, easy stride, clean bat path, shows hardest contact to middle of field, 78 mph exit velocity. Square stance with solid flexibility, blocks well, has athleticism behind plate, stiffer one-piece arm action, avg. accuracy to bag, 68 mph arm strength with 2.25-2.37 pop times.

3/11/18- 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.72 runner. Square stance, slight hand load, some stiffness to swing, spray contact, 80 mph exit velocity. Quiet actions, shows ability to receive, raw mechanics on catch and throw, uphill release, avg. accuracy to bag, 67 mph arm strength with 2.28-2.34 pop times.


7/31/17- 5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 4.75 home-to-first time. Body load, front heel turn trigger, choppy swing plane, mid/pull approach, consistent solid line drives and groundballs, 80 mph exit velocity. Shows flexibility behind plate, above avg. receiver, good blocking position, solid footwork, works through plate, longer exchange, throws uphill occasionally, avg. accuracy to bag, 65 mph arm strength with 2.21-2.33 pop times.
