6/13/17:  5-foot-8, 155 pound catcher showcased pop times ranging between 2.06-2.12.  Quick transfer with clean release.  Throws topped at 74 with accuracy.  In the infield, hands are above average with long transfer.  Short arm action produced throws topping at 74.  Hits from a balanced setup and short stride.  Average bat speed.  Produced high exit velocity of 79.

2/19/17: 5-foot-8, 165 pounds.  Offensively, balanced setup, loads back, short stride, average lower half, average balance.  Long/level swing plane. Line drive type hitter. Registered a high exit velocity of 78 mph.  Defensively, produced pop times of 2.16-2.22.  Transfer is clean. Throws were accurate, topping out at 69 mph from a short arm action. Firm hands while receiving.  In the infield , short arm action, throws topped out at 75 mph.  Average hands, fluid feet, long exchange.  

5/11/16 Game Notes: 5-foot-7 145 pound Sophomore backstop had a hit and a walk against Plainfield. At the plate hits from a crouch with a short stride and upward plane that will produce singles and doubles at this point. Pop times were 2.10 - 2.15 with clean footwork and transfer. Receives ball cleanly, but does get caught stretching the zone at times.  

2/21/16:  5-foot-7, 145 pound receiver was 2.13, 2.17 and 2.19 with his pop times; 68 from the crouch.  Quick, short arm action.  Quick feet, clean transfer.  Balanced setup in his primary.  Firm hands, tendency to reach for pitches. Shows some athleticism while blocking.  At the plate hits from a crouch type setup.  Smooth load, short stride.  Short, uphill swing plane.  Showed good barrel control.  Hips tend to get locked.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 78.
