2/23/13: 6-foot-1, 170 pound sophomore runs a 6.86 60.  Possesses an athletic frame and athletic actions in the field.  Showcased a solid arm from the OF at 85 mph with carry.  Uses a long arm action and throws from a high ¾ arm slot.  His feet are fluid and plays through the ball.  Tends to field the ball deep.  Good feel for the position.  At the plate hits from a crouch with a wide base and slightly open front foot.  Dives towards the baseball during his stride.  Shows good balance throughout the swing.  His bat speed is very quick and shows some projectable pop.  

Travelsted works downhill throughout his delivery creating arm side run on most everything he throws. Average arm speed, good deception. Change-up was his best pitch with good arm side run; inconsistent at times however. Breaking ball lacks identity, but has good rotation at 64-67. Fastball topped out at 82. Travelsted projects more as an outfielder at this time.
