2017 Spring Scout Blog:  6'3", 225 pound Indiana commit played third base and hit cleanup. Big bat in the lineup with plus power and big time bat speed. Upright stance with hands high next to the helmet to start, feet shoulder width. Big leg kick to load hands, shortened leg lift with two strikes. Barrel gets in good position in load and lands balanced to launch. Lower half is strong. Long path through the zone, wants to get arms extended. Had tendency to jump out on front side facing velo/good breaking ball from the right side. Drove a double to left center field with pop. Posses pull side power. Average arm strength across the diamond with accurate throws. Needs more bend and flexibility to stay down through the baseball, tendency to stand up to release.  Will need more foot speed and better lateral movement to stay on the left side at the next level.

2/20/16:  6-foot-3, 220 pounder pitches from a high ¾ arm slot with quick arm speed.  Stab on the backside of the delivery.  Regular effort with some rhythm. Stays in line.  Fastball sat 83-85.  Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with sharp action at 71-74.  Changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and straight at 75-78.
