2/18/18: 6-foot-4, 200 pound right-handed pitcher was up to 85, sitting 84-85 with the fastball. Physical frame, strong lower half. Some twitch. Long, stab on backside of arm swing. Stiff wrist. Breaking ball has loopy action at 66-68. Change-up sat 71-74 with some fade. In the box, balanced setup with slight leg kick. Rushed tempo. Quick barrel. Strong hands. Present gap to gap power. Plays with flat feet in the outfield, average hands. Long arm swing, throws up to 79mph.
9/16/17 PBR Fall Championships: Looked hitterish all day and was comfortable in the box while producing loud contact. At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Barrett has raw strength with strong forearms that help him impact the baseball on an uphill plane. His hands start high before settling down and back with a leg lift. He finished heavy on his backside. Barrett never gets cheated and hunts fastballs.
