+ Frame: Young-looking, 6-foot, 155 pounder. + Delivery/Arm Action: Up-tempo, control to tall lift w slight inward turn. Hips work, creates quality hip-to-shoulder w square landing & dynamic balance in the finish. Shoulders remain in-line throughout, arm works loose & gets to a full-circle. Abv avg arm speed to OTT slot. Love the operation. + Stuff: 85.5-87 fastball T 88 - abv avg carry 16.4" IVB on average, 6'3" extension. 72-74 CB w two-plane shape (9" sweep, 9" depth) averaged 2139 rpm. 74-76 slider was better of two breaking balls, flatter break, 2206 rpm avg. Straight change at 77-79 can go to both sides. Showed present feel for all. + Summation: Blondi was awesome at this event showing big jumps with a body that is still maturing. There is just a lot to like here: the delivery is efficient & athletic, the arm works clean, there is shape to the pitches, he commands the baseball, he's a switch-hitter w smooth actions on the dirt, shows multiple arm slots across the diamond, & he's a high-character, A+ makeup type kid you like to bet on. The stuff has ticked into the above average range & I think there is more in the tank as he continues to mature.

Positional Profile: SS/C
Body: 5-9, 145-pounds. Lean build on an undersized frame.
Hit: SH. (L) - Tall, relaxed setup. Slow, controlled load as he coils into the back hip. Natural barrel feel, barrel works on plane early to match plane. Will mature into more strength.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 76.3 mph. 313' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Long, loose arm swing from an over the top slot. Whippy arm with strong shoulder separation in mechanics. Future tool.
Defense: Swift mover with soft hands. Developed exchangeability.
ATH: 7.60 runner in the 60.

‘27 C/INF Bo Blondi (Canes Midwest) - Lean, 5-foot-7, 132 pounder. True switch hitter with fluidity from both sides. Fundamentally sound actions in the infield & behind the dish. Plays with energy.
