4/17/14 Game Notes: Niksich is a high follow in the 2016 class and is emerging as one of the better arms in the state. The righty throws only out of the stretch and has an ideal build for a pitcher, with long arms and legs. His fastball sat 84-87 last night with a little arm side.  Possesses good command allowing just one walk in his four innings. His 71-73 curveball showed signs of being a good out pitch, but struggled at times leaving it out of the zone. The changeup sat 76-77 and showed good run and downward movement, he was able to pick up a couple strikeouts with this pitch.

6-foot, 150 pound RHP with a pitcher’s build.  He possesses long limbs, but will need to fill out with time. The freshman has tilt combined with a long, loose, whippy arm action. His fastball is heavy and sat 79-81 mph. The breaking ball is advanced for his age. Niksich is a high follow in the 2016 class.
