Minnick had a standout junior campaign at Homestead HS and proceeded to put together a strong summer to continue to improve his stock. Minnick looks the part of a future-power hitting corner infielder - an imposing presence in the left-handed batter's box standing at 6-foot-5 and 202 pounds. The Fort Wayne native has a compact load that allows him to turn a tight barrel that enters the hitting zone on-plane. The long-limbed, left-handed hitter is also able to leverage the ball out front with significant bat speed, allowing him to elevate the ball with authority from gap-to-gap. Minnick is a sure-handed defender on the dirt with enough arm strength (84 INF) to give him a chance to play both corner infield spots at the college level.
