6/25/15: The 6-foot-3 205 pound first baseman ran a 7.25 60 yd dash. Offensively, Brian has quick bat speed and good balance. Potential for some pull side pop. Brian produced an exit velocity of 87mph. Level path to the baseball with an overall good approach. Fluid rhythm. On the mound, his FB was 81-84 and thrown for strikes. Breaking ball was 70-71 with 11/5 shape. Change-up was thrown at 73-76mph with some arm side run. Pitches from a high 3/4 slot, long, quick arm action. Tall to fall delivery with some rhythm. Level shoulders, good line to the plate.
6/9/15: The 6-foot-2, 205 pound righty sat 81-82, up to 83 on the bump. CB was a downer with gradual break at 68-70. Change-up was thrown at 73-75 with good arm speed. Delivery has long arm action and smooth rhythm. He finishes athletically.
