'26 RHP Brogan Hanna (Bloomington North) has made serious progress within his development compared to looks last summer. Hanna improved his fastball velocity by 7 mph compared to last summer, now sitting 82-85 mph on a true carry fastball. Hanna was able to get 20" of IVB at times, averaging 18.1", and his 6-foot-5, 175 pound frame suggests there is still plenty of velocity left in the tank. An above average mover with some quickness in the arm, Hanna works from an over-the-top slot to create downhill ride on his fastball. A strike-thrower with two above average off-speed offerings, Hanna showed a 66-70 mph slurve with solid shape, a pitch that will improve as he throws it with more intent, and a fading changeup that averaged 15.6" of horizontal break. An upside '26 arm with a body to dream on, Hanna will be another priority watch for our staff as '26s get closer to August 1st, when recruiters can officially contact 2026 graduates.

Position: RHP/OF

Body: 6-foot-4, 160-pound lean lengthy build.

Hit: (RHH) Started in an athletic crouched stance with a compact load, then used a short toe tap stride. Front foot finish, flat upward swing. Pull side approach.

Power: 84.3 mph exit velocity, average 72.2 mph. 61.5 mph bat speed average. 20.1 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Sure hands, in control footwork, clean exchange.  Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic.

Arm: 81 mph outfield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

Pitching:  Drop-and-drive delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, good arm speed, quick short arm action. Tall balance point, an athletic finish.

FB: 76-78 mph. (Max spin 1755;  Avg 1431). Up in the zone accuracy, slight running action.

SL: 62-64 mph. Down in the zone command, sweeping action, 10/4 movement.

CH: 71-72 mph. Arm side control, sinking action.
