Pennington is a 5’11”, 165 lb. junior.  In the field he displays soft hands with good footwork and a quick exchange.  His defensive actions are solid.  Across the diamond he shows a good arm at 84 mph.  At the plate he hits from the left side.  He shows an advanced approach with a balanced set up.  His stride is short and shows good balance.  He displays good bat speed and the ability to hit for some pop.
