+ Frame: Abv avg athlete, 5-foot-11, 165 pounder. + Delivery/Arm Action: Consistent pace throughout athletic delivery. Gets to quick, even lift w in-line shoulders & makes a dynamic move down the slope to get 7-foot fastball extension. Moderate length to the arm path w abv avg arm speed. Small inversion flips up in-sync. + Stuff: 86-87 FB T 88 & played up w extension. 71-73 CB & 73-75 SL run together w similiar properties, play at an abv avg clip. At least an avg change in his arsenal, was not shown at this event. Very good control for all pitches. + Summation: Gregg is building a reputation as one of the better strike-throwers in the class w statistics & multiple opinions to back that. The stuff is beginning to play higher with louder fastball velocities to play with established feel for spin. This was my first look on him in a while & I was impressed with how he's trended as an athlete. He had a ton of success for Greencastle as a freshman and his progress will be monitored closely in his sophomore campaign for the Tiger Cubs, and into the summer on the circuit, as well.
