Whitmer is a 6-foot-2 inch, 190 pound junior.  From the wind-up he shows a high leg kick, good arm action and high three quarter arm slot.  His fastball is consistently 86-87 mph.  Whitmer’s breaking ball shows good tilt at 68-72 mph.  He shows the ability to throw his changeup consistently in the zone at 69-74 mph with good sink action.
